The Angus Scott Pipe Band was formed in 1955 and is the oldest continuing bagpipe band in the Spokane & Coeur d'Alene area.
The band was named in memory of Pipe Major Angus Scott of Kimberley B.C. His enthusiasm and support for the project had much influence on the Scottish community in the Inland Empire.
